Below is a couple of website on styles of photography. Please read through them. Then list 3-5 different styles you are interested in and briefly describe them. Then choose one that you could do a photo-shoot for. Create an assignment with that style that the entire class could do. Describe how the grade the assignment as well.

Classwork assignment #2: Women and photographers
Browse through the various women photographers and choose one that interests you. Post your answers and photographs on a keynote and label it women photographers:
Part 1: Describe in a paragraph the following:
1. Background life of photographer (at least two slides)
2. Education (1-2 slides)
3. Major influences (1 slide)
4. Challenges of being a women in the field of photography during that time period (1 slide)
5. Describe the style of photography (documentary, war, fashion)
6. Then post 8 of your favorite photographs from your chosen photographer. (1-4 slides)
7. Describe in a paragraph why you like them and what main design elements the photographer utilizes. (1 slide)

3. Share the photograph with me and either verbally explain what you learned about photoshop or in a written paragraph. Discuss how the tool improved your photograph and any challenges you had.
Advanced photoshop
1. Choose a photograph from this quarter.
2. If you are currently taking photoshop, create a screenshot explaining two to three tools you are using on photoshop for one of your photographs or verbally go over it with me.
3. Save your screenshot to quicktime and share with me or set up a time to meet with me.
4. In your screenshot with quicktime explain to me how to use the tool and how it added to your photograph and any challenges you had.
